Q. What is the Salary?
A. First year: £45,146, Second year: £46,654, thereafter increasing by approximately 4% per annum.

Q. Am I paid during training?
A. Yes. Salary is paid one month in arrears from the commencement of employment.

Q. What is the work pattern?
A. Rosters are 18 working days per month with typical trip lengths of 7 or 8 days, occasionally more.

Q. When will courses start?
A. Courses commence throughout the year according to requirements.

Q. Are there any additional benefits?
A. Benefits include away-from-base allowances (£2.00 per hour, plus £10 per hotel night overseas), contributory pension, health insurance, critical illness insurance and loss of licence insurance.

Q. How long is the conversion training?
A. Training will take approximately six weeks and will be carried out in the UK or Germany.

Q. Where will I be based?
A. You will be based at Stansted Airport, London.

Q. Is there a training bond?
A. For non-type-rated pilots there is an £18,000 bond, of which £9,000 is required as a deposit. The bond decreases linearly by £500 per month to zero at the end of the third year. The £9,000 deposit will be repaid at £500 per month from months 19 to 36 inclusive.

Q. What is the Company retirement age?
A. 65 years for Captains and First Officers.
