Technical Services Engineer

Global Supply Systems Ltd, Stansted (UK) based B747-400F operator, are seeking to recruit a Technical Services Engineer to work as part of their Continuing Airworthiness Management Team. Reporting to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager key responsibilities will include:

• AD / SB Assessment
• Liaison with aircraft and equipment OEMs
• Reliability Reporting, Analysis and Case Work
• Technical Project Work
• Maintenance Check Representation (Worldwide)

The ideal candidate will have an extensive knowledge of EASA Part M, Part 145 and EU OPS requirements with excellent IT skills. B747-400 experience (avionics and / or airframe and engine) and previous knowledge of the AMOS maintenance management system would also be advantageous. Successful candidates must be highly organised, willing to work with a flexible approach within a small team and have a creative, yet pragmatic, approach to problem solving. The position may require some overseas (long haul) travel.

The minimum qualifications are:-

• Total Time 3000hrs with 500hrs on multi-engine turbine
• Valid CAA/JAA ATPL with Class 1 Medical
• The right to work in the UK
• Preference will be given to pilots with Jet Airliner experience
